The results showed that the variable facilities and culture partially had a positive and significant influence on the number of tourist visits in Coal Regency. Meanwhile, culinary and souvenir variables have a positive but not significant influence on the number of tourist visits.

Discussion

The results of this study indicate that the development of coastal tourism objects in Coal Regency has the potential to increase the income of the local community. Factors such as adequate facilities and local cultural wisdom are key in attracting tourists and encouraging economic growth. The development of a tour package that combines local culture will increase the selling value of tourism objects and strengthen regional identity.

Recommendation

Improving the Quality of Facilities

Government and tourist attraction managers need to focus on improving the quality of facilities such as toilets, parking lots, and internet access. Comfortable and adequate facilities will increase tourist satisfaction and encourage repeated visits.

Preservation of Local Culture

Local culture such as traditional arts, typical foods, and handicrafts can be a special attraction for tourists. The development of a tour package that combines local culture will increase the selling value of tourism objects and strengthen regional identity.

Increasing Community Involvement

The government and tourist attraction managers need to involve the local community in the management and development of tourism objects. This will increase the sense of ownership and encourage the active participation of the community in improving mutual welfare.

Conclusion

By paying attention to these factors, the development of coastal tourism objects in Batu Bara Regency can be a local economic driver and improve the welfare of the community. Sustainable and environmentally friendly development is also important to ensure the sustainability of tourist attractions and maintain the preservation of nature.
