The methodology used is the Explanatory Sequential Mixed Method, which involves the collection of quantitative data first, followed by an analysis and planning of qualitative data based on the results obtained.

Research Results and Management Models

The results showed that Reusam Island resources have a suitability to be used as an ecotourism area. The carrying capacity of this area reaches 4,153 visitors per day, indicating that Reusam Island can accommodate a significant number of tourists without damaging the environment.

This sharia-based ecotourism management model consists of three sub-systems:

Environmental Sub-System: Focusing on the preservation of nature and ecosystems, ensuring that tourism activities do not damage the beauty and biodiversity of Reusam Island.
