The company's operators conduct manual operations, which cause a long time completion of work. The analysis of the production process shows that inefficient and less productive movements carried out by the operator are the main causes of the slow process. The company's production output is only 9 backrest products per day, which is far from the target production.

Methodology

This study uses the Most Method (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) to design the improvement of work methods. This method involves an indirect time measurement to determine the standard time in actual conditions. Raw time measurements are carried out using a stopwatch and a 5% accuracy rate and a 95% confidence level for data processing. Data is collected through field observation, interviews with employees, recording of company reports and archives, as well as references from previous research.
