Describe the bug

When "Direct Edit" is enabled in settings, and "Notes opening behavior" is "Plain preview" (or "remember my last decision" and last state was preview mode) go into the Notes app
Select a note
Tap on text or on "Plain edit mode"
nothing happens (besides the animation when tapping on "Plain edit mode" button)

Deactivating "Direct Edit" makes the button "Plain edit mode" functional again.
When "Direct Edit" mode is enabled, and "Notes opening behavior" is set to "Plain edit mode", it works as expected.
In my opinion, a completely non-functioning button is not desirable. I think that when "Direct Edit" is enabled, the "Plain edit mode"-button should be hidden, and "Plain preview" should just always be/become "Plain edit mode", as long as "Direct Edit" is enabled

Expected behavior

After tapping on text or on "Plain edit mode", I get to edit the note, while direct edit is activated.
