This paper had a tensile index of 16,945 nm/g and a torn index of 3,719 x 10-3 Nm2/g, which met the SNI 14-1308-1998 standards. This indicates that a mixture of pineapple and rice straw fibers can produce paper with good strength and endurance.

In comparison, paper made from 100% pineapple fiber had a tensile index of 16,819 nm/g and a torn index of 3,046 x 10-3 nm2/g, while paper made from 100% rice straw fiber had a tensile index of 13,745 nm/g and a torn index of 3,559 x 10-3 Nm2/G.
