Introduction

The data collected was then analyzed and interpreted by referring to the relevant theory of the existing literature study. This aimed to get a deep understanding of the empowerment strategies applied and the constraints encountered in their implementation.

Empowerment Constraints

Despite the various empowerment programs implemented by SPI, the community still faces a number of obstacles. Internal constraints that arise include low awareness of the public towards the importance of empowerment activities due to poverty, lack of knowledge, and still strengthening patriarchal culture in daily life. This has the potential to hamper women's participation in activities designed to empower them.

In terms of external constraints, SPI faces negative stereotypes that develop in the community regarding the empowerment activities they carry out. This stereotype often makes people hesitant to participate in the programs offered, thus affecting the effectiveness of the empowerment efforts that are carried out.
