This study aims to evaluate the drug management system in the pharmaceutical installation of the University of North Sumatra Hospital to ensure that the practice applied has met the established standards.

The hospital's pharmacy installation plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Research Methodology

This research employed a descriptive-evaluative approach, where data was collected through retrospective and concurrent methods. The data obtained were grouped into quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed that in the selection stage, around 93.8% of the drugs were provided by the hospital in accordance with the national formulary. The percentage of generation of generic drugs also showed a pretty good number, with 81.93% in 2017 and 80.9% in 2018.
