For building cleanliness, the lowest value was obtained from the cleanliness of the ceiling at an interval of 3.00, while the cleanliness of the toilet got the highest value at 3.29. In the assessment of building conditions, the wall got the lowest value of 2.94, and the condition of the door got the highest score of 3.51. In addition, the evaluation of the color of the building, the odor in the room, temperature, and lighting showed that the color of the building got a score of 2.97, the odor in the building 3.43, the temperature of 3.20, and the lighting of the room 3.29.

Discussion

Although building maintenance management at the University of North Sumatra Hospital shows relatively good results, there are still several aspects that need attention and improvement. For example, more attention to the cleanliness of the ceiling and building walls can increase user comfort and satisfaction. The findings of this study highlight the importance of involving user satisfaction as the main indicator in building maintenance. Hospital management needs to continue to conduct periodic evaluations and implement more comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all building users.
